The Business Development Advisor is an outside sales representative that will develop new business for the company by building relationships with prospective clients. This position is supported by a focused Marketing and social media strategy, targeted client research and data analytics and an effective inside sales team.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Create mutually beneficial relationship with key business leaders
  • Communicate thought-leadership and insights to prospective client
  • Guide your prospective business partners to achieve best-in-class results
  • Execute our strategy to develop business through calling and outreach
  • Maintain strong sales management discipline including pursuing leads, managing pipeline, presenting solutions and communicating value
  • Strategically position and present our solutions to business leaders
  • Analyze financial data and derive insights and savings opportunity

  • Employ guided discovery techniques to match issues with solutions
  • Pursue continuous learning and development and be an expert in your field

 

Qualifications

What you have to offer:

  • Finance-related bachelor’s degree or extensive work experienc
  • 5+ Years sales & business development experience
  • Financial industry experience
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Documented history of progression and development in your field
  • Strong networking skills
  • Self-motivated, well organized and results oriented
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Power Point, Word and Excel and a CRM system
  • Thrive working individually and with a team to achieve results
  • Creative, entrepreneurial and leadership mindset
