Overview

 

This position is for a Process & Efficiency Improvement Advisor with interest and experience in documenting procedures, systems, funds flow and general Process Improvement. The Process & Efficiency Improvement Advisor will work with diverse clients ranging from small and medium size enterprises to large Fortune 100 enterprises to document the existing processes, procedure and technology currently in place within the Client’s inbound payments, outbound payments, banking and financial operations eco-systems. They will then collaborate with the Advisory Group and Management to identify, document and deliver process improvement initiatives. The Advisor will analyze the client’s existing inbound payments, banking, treasury and financial operations, and outbound payments to identify and help implement efficiencies within the client’s treasury and payments environment. The primary responsibilities of this role include coordinating process development activities within a client's organization; working with stakeholders to understand and map their business processes, procedures, technology and resources levels and define areas of improvement. You will be asked to provide value on process design and improvement initiatives, assisting our clients to identify business needs and focused solutions, and collaborate with the Advisory Group to realize those solutions by implementing proven, real world, actionable solutions to leverage technology, streamline processes and procedures, reduce resource levels and drive efficiencies throughout the Client’s Payments, Treasury & Financial Operations.

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and help implement process improvement initiatives within their assigned client base
  • Work with the project team and interface with the client to do process mapping, process data sheets, and analyze process to identify process improvement requirements
  • Diagram and document current processes and procedures as well as technology and resources in place today
  • Analyze the Client’s current eco-system and Identify process improvement recommendations with the client and interface with other team members to coordinate all facets of process improvement initiatives
  • Document Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the current as-is process, and track KPIs during and after implementation of process improvement recommendation
  • Mentor and coach team members on the fundamentals of business process modeling, lean management, six sigma, business process engineering and similar areas of knowledge
  • Develop new knowledge in process improvement to support our client initiatives

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications

  • Needs to possess a solid understanding of tools and techniques required to effectively develop or improve business processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using process improvement tools and techniques to drive organizational change
  • Prior experience with lean management, Six Sigma or process design and re-engineering strongly desired
  • Knowledge of process modeling and process diagramming software and tools

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Undergraduate Degree in finance/audit/business or a related field of study
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant and related experience
  • Knowledge of treasury management, financial operations and payment practices
  • Prior experience in process mapping, process improvements as it pertains to working capital initiatives, banking relationships and services, redesign of accounts receivable and/or accounts payable functions highly desired
  • Strong skills in presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
  • Demonstrated success in analysis driven problem solving
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and influence without authority or title
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and information
  • Ability to work in team environment, hand-in-hand with client, and deliver solid results in a demanding work environment
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with client personnel

 

Compensation

 

We offer an excellent overall compensation package that will be dependent upon your level of experience. This position includes a competitive base salary, along with incentives and bonuses.
